• Designed and managed cash distribution solutions to large groups temporary employees on temporary assignments away from home via various treasury and payroll tools.

• Improved accounting processes that left 10s of thousands of dollars un-billed or accounted for.

• Converted from Great Plains Dynamics to QuickBooks Enterprise with custom add ons to obtain superior job cost functionality and a more productive accounting department. At the time this reduced the accounting staffing needs from 5 people to 4 people.

• Custom designed an easy to analyze job cost report that ensured accurate billing and cost visibility. This ensured every billable cost for a job was billed and identified missing costs and billing opportunities. It also easily provided drill down details on non-billable costs for review by management.

• Custom designed a payroll system used with multiple entities nationwide, with automated job costing with an estimated volume of about $29M in payroll costs processed this year.

• Ensured bad debt was nearly nonexistent, averaging 0.09% of revenue in the last year vs. 2.41% when I took over as controller.

• Played a key role in the efficient operation of the business in lean times and growth in boom times.
