Work Experience

A competent and resourceful professional with over 20 years gulf experience, of which 10 years in Oman - worked as manager in ASH TRADING AND CONT., MUSCAT with the responsibilities of day to day Trading.

2002 TO 2010 - Experience in THORESEN SHIPPING, Sharjah – United Arab Emirates.

Joined as cargo Supervisor. 2002- 2004

Job Responsibilities include co-coordinating with importers / reporting cargo status to Management.

Based on the performance, I have been promoted as Assistant manager in 2004 handling Sales & Operations –with following activities :

-Marketing the Lines activities to customers across Gulf

-Day to day follow up with regular importers

-Co-ordinating with Port Operations for safe and speedy discharge

Owing to the result oriented job performance, I have been promoted as Manager to handle the Marketing / Operations with the existing team, as the work load increases to three folds.

With the wider work scope – visited various gulf states to meet customers / market the carriers services and to secure the cargo.

Our main cargo’s are Ply, Mdf, Timber, Gypsum board, equipments and steel from South East Asia – destined to Gulf and Upper Gulf Ports, with Sharjah Port as Hub.

Have attended other ports in UAE -Dubai, Jebel ali, Hamriya, Umm al quwain, Ajman, / Other Gulf ports like Muscat, Sohar, Doha, BIK (Iran)for cargo operations and well versed with local operations style in these ports.

Gained customers confidence through our value added services like cargo updations / documentation / transport arrangements for both local and other gulf states.

In General, I have good customer base contacts with all major importers of panel products in the Gulf.

From 2010 to June 2016 . shifted to home town in india, to look after and manage my family business of real estate business.

I got an offer from previous employer Thoresen Shipping to take charge of same previous

Position as operation manager and I joined in 1st June 2016.

Due to sudden economic slow down in region which affects our shipping industries,

Hence I look forward for better options where I can use my vast experience for
