Bureau of Petroleum Division (FDEP) Project, Independent Consultant 2012

Worked with LSSI proposals to do a supplemental site assessment of contamination report by participating in Ground water monitoring program entailed sampling and PAH analysis of wells for the KAG parameter group. Performed soil sampling activities Arsenic, pesticides( Organochlorine, Organophosphorus), herbicides(chlorinated), 8 RCRA Metals & copper by inspecting 40 acre site which was de-mucked to the water table and the site(Palm Beach School District) brought up to rough grade material imported from two different locations.

MFRA (North Dakota Roadway Construction Project), Engineering Inspector 2011

Inspected the contractor implantation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP- followed NPDES regulations) to minimize the erosion and pollutant discharge for the project. Observed the design discharge while doing the extension of Reinforced Pipe Culverts, inspected the remove and relay of the end sections, and verified the quantity of soil used for erosion control blanket; kept track of the class 5 aggregate hauled by the trucks with respect to the tickets generated by the hopper scale at the production plant site. Inspected the production of raw materials and the deployment of the same. Inspected the paving operations of hot bituminous mix (FAA45 5428 and FAA45 6428) and measured the hauling of the material by reviewing the passing lanes, Driving lanes and accelrations lanes etc.

BP Oil Spill Survey, Independent Environmental Consultant 2010 -2011

Participated in the BP Oil Spill survey team evaluating the water quality sampling and Environmental impact assessments along Florida West coast. Reviewed the discharge monitoring plans associated with soil sediment interaction and worked with SPCC(Spill Prevention Control and Counter measure) regulation guidelines and also participated in the implemetation of Facility Response Plan(FRP) by verifying the Facility site plan to identify potential spill hazards.

SFWMD, Water Resource Engineer/Environmental Professional 2003-2010

Worked with the Remote control operation(SCADA to start/stop pumps and open/close gates) and Environmental Monitoring of Water control structures(culverts; spillways and pump stations) in Storm water management areas, prepared the water control operational plans by taking into consideration of flood protection, storm water attenuation and water quality treatment. Mainly worked with the Everglades restoration projects of storm water treatment areas (STAs) and Water Preservation Areas by reviewing the plans of Culvert Pipes, Levees and Berms; observed the design and permits of surface water management(NPDES Phase II regulations). Worked with DBHYDRO station reconciliation project and worked extensively with emaps and ArcGIS to work with Datum and latitude/longitude corrections.

Performed the Geotechnical and Pavement evaluation for the FDOT project with 3R(resurfacing, restoration and rehabilitation) and evaluated the existing slope failure by conducting the field testing with Standard Penetration Test(SPT) borings. Later performed the statistical analysis on SPT borings data to derive the soil parameters. Performed sampling and Testing of cement concrete in strict accordance with ASTM standards. Reviewed and interpreted the project designs and specifications to determine the needful tests as required; accurately documented the testing results by adhering to the safety and Environmental regulations.
