Ammonia Engineer.

Duties, responsibilities:

• Smooth & Safe operation, start-up & shut downs of Ammonia Plant from DCS as well as from Field in rotary shifts, production optimization & safe emergency handling of all associated process units along with the responsibility of many distinctive Project related assignments. Run the Plant safely and in efficient manner.

• Co-ordinate with other Departments for the execution of Maintenance Activities.

• Emergency handling and Troubleshooting at the plant according to Standard Operating Procedures.

• Experienced in preparing SOPs, Manuals, Work Instructions for different process operations and maintaining technical reports for facilitating decision making by the management. Experience also includes direction & follows ups with construction or maintenance team to deliver the quality work on schedule, Manpower Management, Planning of Maintenance, accountability for proper & safe job execution, review of construction / modifications drawings & specifications.

• Steam generation (auxiliary boiler, waste heat boiler and HRSG boiler) running and monitoring the related network.

• Communication and related adjustments with utility plant and Urea plant about feed/product flow fluctuations due to any upset/troubleshooting or shutdown activities.

• Control and handle plant upsets and emergencies. Lead operation staff to start plant after Shutdown.

• Maintain detailed records of daily activities and LAB analysis to keep product quality on specification.

• Keep good communication with plant departments.

• Able to read and interpret Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID's), ESD cause and effect diagrams.

• Take initial action in firefighting and first aid, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.

Assist and execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of our new plant as:

• Steam blowing, air blowing; N2 line blowing, Lubrication oil flushing, cooling water, sea

Water, potable water flushing…etc.

• Solo & Mechanical Run Test of various Turbines, Pumps, Motors, Compressors, Blowers.

• Catalyst Loading of Primary, Secondary Reformer, HTS, LTS and Methanator.

• Refractory Dry-out of Primary Reformer Furnace, Heat Convection Zone and Hot & Cold Collectors and various Boilers.

• Catalyst Reduction of various Reactors.

• Preparation and addition of various Chemicals and Solutions.

• Chemical cleaning of waste heat boiler, auxiliary boiler, HRSG and pall rings of CO2

removal section towers.

• Lubrication Oil circuit flushing of steam turbine, compressors and motors.
