I graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 1966 receiving a B.S. degree with courses in math, science, physics, and mechanical and electrical engineering. I also hold three different plumbing licenses and a home improvement contractor’s license. If it is of interest to you, I can speak and understand the Spanish language.

From 1964 to 1972 I taught Math, Science, and Machine Shop in various high schools in Connecticut. Then, 1969 to 1970 I worked at Sikorsky Aircraft, a second shift job, nights, full time in the electronics calibration laboratory.

From 1972 to 1980 I work in Real Estate. Having a broker’s license I was selling, buying, renting, collecting rents, doing hands on remodeling and repairs of the apartments, building and grounds along with two or three men working for me. At this time I owned as many as 12 buildings having 72 apartments. Also at this time, I owned three Laundromats, managed them and repaired all of the equipment myself which includes all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

Around 1980 I liquidated most of my property and all of the businesses and when into the general contracting business only retaining one 4 family rental apartment house which I live in.

I had been in the general contracting business from 1980 to 1993 with up to 6 men working for me. While in the contracting business I subcontracted to D&R Plumbing from 1980 to 1985 doing most of their emergency repair, drain cleaning and sewer work in a hands on capacity. Also I was doing hands on work with my men, all the carpentry, plumbing, electrical, asphalt, masonry, painting, roofing, siding and also ran the backhoe, bull dozer, loader and asphalt roller myself. At the end of 1993 I decided to close my contract business because of lack of work to keep myself and my men busy and to take a position in industry, or to go to work for a bigger construction company. And, I sold all of my larger equipment.

However from 1993 to 1994 I became involved in designing, developing and building my own 23 foot hovercraft.

Since late 1994 to present I have been employed by The Hubbell Electric Heather Co of Stratford, CT as head and only maintenance mechanic. In their approximately 50,000 sq. ft. facility I effect the building maintenance of all the plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and heating repair needs and some air conditioning. In addition I also effect the repairs to all the production equipment as far as mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic pnuenatic, and plumbing needs.
