November – December1997: Organisation of two seminars in Rhodos for informing the parents and the educators about the new approaches in the field of learning difficulties under the authority of the Municipality of Rhodos and the University of Aegean.

April: Organisation in Rhodes of the first Panhellenic Conference for Learning Difficulties, with the participation of 14 distinctive professors from UK, USA and Greece.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have twenty years of experience as an active therapist and diagnostician in the private sector. I have diagnosed and treated more than 600 children with learning and developmental difficulties and more than 200 adults with various neurological or pain problems.

During these years I have been involved with all the range of learning and developmental difficulties and I had developed my own techniques and methods.

I have trained more than 150 professionals in the use of the methods I ‘m using in my center.

I have also served for two years the public sector as a teacher of special needs in the primary education.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Determination of the profile of the child with learning and developmental difficulties using Brain Evoked Potentials. Started 2013. In progress.

Enhancing cognitive abilities with the use of neurodevelopmental programmes. Started 2013.

Enhancing development, speech, language and cognitive abilities with the use of TDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation). Master Thesis in progress.
