Duties & Responsibilities:

Applying work permit on site & Conducting daily briefing/ LMRS at tool box meeting at work location and closing of PTWs at end of working day.

Supervise and coordinate activities of work crews engaged in erecting structural steels. Mark locations for new rivet holes and rectify errors.

Do material take-off for piping and structural works and ensure that fabricated spools/structural members are QC cleared and ready for other processes like blasting/painting, galvanizing.

Routine liaising with material controller to ensure that materials are ready for delivery to site and for erection.

Plan and assign workers for work.

Assists workers in performance of tasks, such as riveting, welding, bolting, and chipping, using portable power/electrical tools.

Ensure that tools, equipment and materials are sufficient for work.

Ensure the safety of workers at work and the daily cleanliness of workshop/worksite.

Report any discrepancies to the project manager and records all change orders or variation works.

Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.

Micro-plan and execute works as designated by construction manager and ensure that works are on schedule and as planned.
