Coffee Machine Redesign Using DFM (Design for Manufacturability) Technique. Syracuse University COURSE PROJECT Jan 2016-May 2016

• Evaluated manufacturing cost of all parts of an existing coffee machine, and redesigned the expensive parts. The aimwas to reduce manufacturing costs while maintained the same function.

• My responsibility involved building data base for different machine parts in Aras Innovator, and constructing 2D and 3D modeling of coffee machine using SolidWorks. The function of constructed coffee machine was verified by DFMPro software. PC games: Super Mario Syracuse University

• Developeda simple clone of the classic video game Super MarioBros. Basic features of Mariowere implemented, such as running, jumping, collecting coins, killing Goomba by jumping on their heads, picking up mushrooms and transforming to big Mario. Bonus bricks and final boss were also introduced tomake the game more interesting.

• The side-scrollingmechanic was employed in the game, in which screen will scroll forward following the speed and direction of Mario, and the scene will change after Mario enters a vertical pipe.

• All characters and objects, including Mario, pipes, bricks, mushrooms, Goomba and final boss, were designed by the image design tool GIMP. Non-contact On-line Roll Profile Measurement System Xiamen University GRADUATION PROJECT Jul 2011-Jul 2012

• Built ameasurement systemfor non-contactmeasuring of roll profile precision. The systemwas employed in roll grindingmachines to assist operator with on-line detection, processing time and cutting depth adjustment.

• My duty includes part design, part assembly and detail part drawing. Using LabVIEW realizes systemcontrol, including logical design, motor running control, data collection and analysis, human/machine interface design.Using displacement sensor with linear degrees of 0.5 %F.S, the linearity of measurement system can achieve 0.07 %F.S.
