Worked as a Senior Strategic Developer in the Network Architecture Core Access Group from 2011 to 2014
Role:
Voice over LTE (VoLTE):
Provide design and architectural support for EPC and IMS Core. Provide communication call flows between PCRF, the Bearer Binding and Event Reporting Function (BBERF) and the PCSCF.
Provide system architecture, integration, development and deployment support. Experience with different EPC and IMS Core elements like PDSN, SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW, PGW, PCEF, PCRF etc.
Provide design and architectural document on VoLTE 9-1-1. Provide RFP requirements for VoLTE.
Provide design and planning document for Spectrum Management with VoLTE.
Provide call-flow diagrams for eCSFB
Provide a Real-time Traffic and QoS Management System using multi network access technology platforms.
Adjustment of Scheduling Parameters to improve the signal effectiveness based on far-end access technology network
Next Generation (NG) 9-1-1
Provide test plans for evaluation of NG 9-1-1 for Sprint.
Provide a whitepaper on IMS based VoLTE 9-1-1
Network platform compatibility with HD voice:
Provide support for analyzing the impact for variation of energy per bit/symbol on the efficiency of HD voice quality over LTE and non LTE platforms
Standards support:
Support NENA IEC-6 as a primary representative of Sprint for developing standards on NG Emergency 9-1-1
Provide support and contributions to the Sprint team at CSRIC-4C to develop a specification standard on Next Generation Emergency 911
Work with the Sprint team in the Emergency Services Interconnection Forum (ESIF) committee on VoLTE 9-1-1
