Participated in successful FAA and JAA type certification of major aircraft models like 787-8 and 787-9 DreamLiner and 747 Intercontinental as an instrumentation engineer, contributing to my team’s 100% on-time readiness for each step of the test process in a highly unpredictable flight test environment.

Provided engineering expertise to ground crews as related to instrumentation needs before, during, and after test programs.

Designed flight test equipment installations (wire, sensors, tubing, bracketry) using CATIA solid modeling software. Assured that flight test disturbance doesn’t adversely affect airframe or systems performance and safety while meeting requirements for data capture.

Responsible for the airborne instrumentation data system functionality to assure accurate capture of the flight test data - data system build up, installation, wiring, troubleshooting, maintenance, signal conditioning, and functional checkouts to name a few. In-flight data monitoring and troubleshooting.
