Project team lead for new business startup. Managed all aspects of setting up new manufacturing plant to include layout, machine procurement and installation, process mapping and development, hiring and training the workforce and implementation of 5S and safety standards. After startup completed it was necessary to make smooth transition into managing daily operations and improvements of the plant.
Achieved plant startup 14% under budget.
Achieved full volume production ramp up (120K tons annually) 6 weeks prior to contractual deadline.
Reduced plant operational costs 30% since achieving full production operation.
