BIO

With over 25 years’ experience in particle sizing and Quality Assurance with the abrasives, refractories, ceramics, nuclear, automotive, aerospace and other industries.

Currently I am the chairman of ASTM E29 for particle sizing and spray characterization. I am actively involved with Woven Wire Test Cloth and Test Sieves, Precision Electroformed Sieves, Perforated Plate Sieves, Sieving Methods and Screening Media. I wrote ASTM Standard E2427 for a Test Method for the Acceptance by Performance Testing for Sieves. I am very actively involved in the development of standards for Industrial Woven Wire, Filter Cloth, Liquid Drop Size Analysis, and Liquid Drop Size Analysis in a Spray Using Optical Non imaging Light Scattering Instruments.

I have expertise and am very knowledgeable in Laser Diffraction, Image Analysis, Electrical Sensing Zone testing.

Currently I am a delegate for the United States for ISO International Cooperation on Particle and Spray Characterization. We are the ANSI accredited U.S technical Advisory Group to TC 24 on Particle Characterization.

I am a member of ASTM Committee C08 on Refractories, C26 on Nuclear Fuel Cycle, and E56 on Nanotechnology.
