ACCOMPLISHMENTS
1.Initiated the planning and subsequent development of the region’s first Residential Hospice Facility.
2.Coordinated the first Knoxville community-wide conference on death and dying, which was attended by over 450 people.
3.Financially and clinically turned around a freestanding facility within 18 months – positive bottom-line. Improved employee retention and successful state surveys.
4.Opened and managed a 25-bed sub-cute SNF unit for St. Mary’s in 1995. Unit has met all objectives/goals. ADC of 20 successful surveys, both state and JCAHO.
5.Developed two branch offices in home care.
