Senior Project Superintendent/Site Manager

Odebrecht Construction - November 2004 to March 2013 Served as the General Superintendent, responsible for the C -D projects on the North Terminal Development Program (NTD).Performed multiple tasks on the project during pre-construction and construction service phases. Along with these tasks and responsibilities; performed project construction management, cost evaluation, scheduling, master planning, master phasing and re-phasing of the existing program. The phasing alone resulted in a two year reduction in the program schedule and beat or met all milestones. The re-phasing brought the program schedule back on track and improved the client-contractor relationship. Performed constructability reviews on all 10 original projects on the NTD Program. Developed the main logistic plan for the projects which included; the landside/airside operations, material storage, contractor staging areas and parking. Also established the site general requirements, maintenance of traffic (MOT) for the projects, security and compliance to all pollution prevention requirements. Performed all work without impacting air line traffic. Project: MIA North Terminal Development Program (Miami, FL) Miami-Dade Aviation Department. The program comprised of 15 projects designed by five different design firms. The MIA North Terminal is one of the largest expansions of an existing airport the US has ever seen, the equivalent of building an entirely new mid-size airport within a fully operating facility. The design includes 50 new gates, new U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services facilities, 123 ticket counters, 119 self service kiosks, 72 federal inspection services location, state of the art baggage system capable of handling 45,000 bags a day, nearly 2 miles of escalator, an automated people mover, and wide array of concession and customer areas. Cost Specifics: Cost of construction $1.045B.

Senior Superintendent/Site Manager

Turner-Austin Airport Team (TAAT) - April 2001 to November 2004 In charge of all on-site construction of the C-D Infill Project at Miami International Airport Projects: This program consisted of three different contracts. Project 737A was for the underground utilities, fuel lines and apron paving. Project 737B included the elevated slab and all underground utilities. Project 737C was for an additional three floors, train guide way and all associated columns, beams and running surface for the train.

Accountable for the on-site construction, plan review, comprised specifications and set up jobsite operations. Project: Fire Station at the Fort Lauderdale Airport for Broward County Aviation Department. Cost Specifics: Cost of construction $6M.

Provided supervision for all on-site roadways, bridges and building construction including: management, inspections, construction schedule monitoring, estimating, claims mitigation and cost evaluation of all requests for changes for Ground Transportation Improvement

Projects: Package A, A-1 and B-2 at the Miami International Airport (MDAD Project). These included the in- bound and out-bound bridges on the upper vehicle drive. Project Park 7, which was a seven floor garage and the renovation of the existing four garages. This included the lowering of the bus lanes thru each garage and the remodel of all elevators and modernization of all structures. Cost Specifics: Cost of construction $70M.
