PROJECT EXPERIENCE:

BE Project: “Experimental Investigation of Lateritic Soil Stabilization with Eggshell Powder”, completed in Final Semester – May 2013.

Objective of the project: Eggshell is the waste product from the egg, it causes environmental pollution. Hence in this project an attempt is made to use eggshell powder as stabilized material.

To collect soil samples from the sites and to determine geotechnical properties of the lateritic soil such as plastic limit, liquid limit, plasticity index, and grain size distribution, etc.

To study the soil under compaction test and determine the optimum moisture content (OMC) and maximum dry density (MDD) for the soil sample.

To determine the effects of adding eggshell powder to lateritic soil on its geotechnical properties.

To determine the change in CBR associated with subgrade strength with addition of different percentages of eggshell powder

WORK EXPERIENCE:

3 years WORK EXPERIENCE as a site engineer and surveyor in RAO constructions, Back end banglore and Amogh constructions presently working in RN Shetty constructions.
