Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strict Adherence to safety requirements and regulations.

•Checking of vital Fabrication points and attending irregularities if any

•General observation for any irregularity in the process

•Inspection of incoming materials and checking mill test certificates (MTC) for that

•Performed material inspection, consumable inspection check equipment and accessories

•Reviewed method statement and Inspection Test Plan with respect toproject specification.

•Carried out Inspection activities in accordance with Inspection and Test Plan.

• Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping and fittings. Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, proper rating and face of flanges.

•Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe supports details.

•Checking the day to day fabrication works and the quality of work going on the site. Inspection of material receives for any irregularities.

•Checking joint Fit- up groove angle, type of groove root gap to rectify any mismatch, as per requirement of approved ITP.

•Checking of pipe support at Fit-up and welding stage, Preparation the reports for review.

•Identification and reviewing the certificates of incoming spools and material such as pipe and fittings.

•Reviewing the Isometric drawing, P&ID & GAD.

•Ensure spool fabrication & Erection as per the Isometric drawing

•Ensure the co-ordinate of erection spool is as per Isometric drawing.

•Undertaking the mechanical clearance of piping system.

•Make daily RFI Log and welding summary report.

•Co-ordinate with client inspector for final inspections for hold and witness point inspection.

•Maintain a record for all inspection points relevant to quality.

• Preparation and monitoring of Non-Conformance reports (NCR)

• Ensuring that the repairs are carried out with approved procedure and review its NDT records for its acceptance,

• Inspection of fabrication, welding and installation of piping system to ensure the quality of job meet the requirements

• Conduct line check after completion on the following inspection item specified materials, flange, alignment, vent and drain

Lines, necessary support and guides, instrument nozzle and other items as per required by the client.

•Preparing a line for Hydro test, applying for Line Co-ordination, conducting a line check before package submission and making the required modification on site to meet the desired quality requirements

• To monitor the construction process from all aspects to ensure performance meets job quality and design requirements in

Accordance with Company procedures Client specifications and Applicable codes.

• Reviewing packages ready for Hydro test, line inspection with the client, conducting Hydro test, flushing and drying

•Closing of packages by clearing “A” punches and preparing a packages ready for pre-commissioning.

• Monitoring the QA/QC Documentation of the subcontractors and ensure that all the activities are incorporated to their system on daily basis and can be traced according to our requirements.

MATERIAL INSPECTION

• Supervising Receiving inspection of materials & equipment’s for all the projects.

• Assist / promote contractors / vendors and the company to develop Quality systems and contract Quality documents.

• Ensure that Quality systems, procedures are implemented and maintained as per ISO procedures and job procedures.

• Managing the overall material control for the various projects in coordination with material control group and clarifying the

Technical issues questioned by client and third-party during the fabrication stage.

• Review and approval of Contractor requisition and before processing & Review of Test Certificates for the Procured material and verify for the compliance to the requirements. Observations are recorded and the Contractor is advised of additional testing of the material for Compliance to the required Standards and Specifications.

Inspection of the painting & insulation works as per specification.

Inspection of Blasting, wrapping coating and Adhesion Test.

Work in a team of Engineer’s & other supporting staffs for time bond complete Assignment.
