Oklahoma Army National Guard March 87-August 07

Last duty at retirement motor Sergeant Bravo Company 700 Support Battalion. Duties to run all motor pool operations supervise and keep inventory of over 125 pieces of small and heavy equipment, to include small arms and individual equipment and tools. Maintenance and repair of all vehicles, trailers, generators, heat/ac units, radios. Emergency Hospital generators. Supervise and plan convoys of more than 100 vehicles and soldiers. Assist and supervise all side of road emergency repairs. Set up and run motor pool in field environment.

Build and maintain duty rosters to ensure soldiers pull equal duty. Inventory and order repair parts and supplies. Perform drivers training (classroom, on and off road conditions) for 700 Support Battalion and other 45th Infantry Division as needed. Train new soldiers in motor pool to standard operating procedures, soldier skills and all phases of maintenance and repairs within the motor pool squad. Perform soldier evaluations; help with soldier promotion and retention boards. Council and promote soldiers for military and civilian education so that they may be advanced in rank and perform the same duties as I have some day. Maintain and adjust weapon style PLC’s. Maintain, repair and rebuild hydraulic systems.
