Duties
●Respond to breakdowns, diagnose and repairs of electrical equipment.
●Switching, isolation / re-energization of all factory equipment to ensure safety of personnel before, during and after maintenance, up to 11KV.
●Troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical plant equipment to minimize downtime.
●Planned periodic maintenance of major plant equipment during scheduled shutdowns.
●Planning and implementation of minor projects and plant modifications to required specification, including producing of preliminary electrical drawing for further approval.
●Carrying out standby duties outside normal working hours.
●Compiling feedback on equipment condition for the computer – based planning system.
●Training and supervising assistants and apprentices, ensuring work is carried out to high standards of workmanship.
●Carrying out emergency procedures in case of crises such as fire, serious gas leak and explosion.
●Carrying out shiftwork when necessary
