In April of 2014 I became an assistant manager for an 80 acre vineyard specializing in raisins and wine grapes. The following skills and responsibilities are encountered daily on the job.

Tractor Operation- standard 20hp Kubota tractors with various attachments including spray rigs, spreaders, loaders, various hydraulic accessories.

Forklift Operation-Use of forklift with varying attachments for stacking bins, receiving deliveries, loading trucks and other various purposes.

Mechanical Harvesting-Expertise maintaining, repairing and operating mechanical harvesters.

Crew Management-Responsible for guiding and supervising crews of differing sizes performing tasks including vine training, cane cutting, pruning, irrigation repairs, stake replacements, and wire repair/replacement

Maintenance- Assisted in the routine maintenance on farm equipment and vehicles used to perform daily tasks, including tractors, pick-up trucks, ag trailers, forklifts, spray rigs, and others. This included oil/fluid changes, tire changes, wood repair, hose repair, painting and other preventative/routine maintenance required to keep equipment operational.
