Technical Intern: (Real Time Short Range Missile Launcher) January 2014 – May 2014 Worked as a Technical intern at the Network & Hardware Lab at MIT, Pune University. My team developed a missile launcher with a view to assist the army in the battlefield. Successfully designed & developed a control system to trigger the launcher from a remote area. Succeeded in achieving the wireless transmission between the robot and PC by using the ZigBee protocol and operate it by a 3-axis accelerometer. Responsible for material management and the design as well as the mechanical assembly and testing of whole unit. Internship: February 2012 – March 2012
Worked with ‘On Time Technologies’ Pune, India, in the Hardware Testing & Debugging Department. This internship gave me hands- on exposure to various motherboards, CPU’s & problem solving skills related to my Electronics degree. Inventory Management:
Worked in an international team-project, worked out the ABC analysis, implemented 5s Lean techniques to improve their inventory flow and to achieve a better WMS. Collaborated with the students from University of Ingolstadt, Germany, which allowed us to work in a cross cultural & cross functional team. Recommended the company to introduce an ERP system by Advanced Planning & Scheduling
(APS) methodology.
Accurate Electronics, Chatsworth-CA: August 2015 - December 2015 6s Implementation:
Executed the 6s Lean methodologies at the electronic chips and motherboard manufacturing company. We reduced the total output time at every workstation by around 10 seconds. I learned various aspects of the Lean techniques and we also came up with new innovative ideas to be implemented at every workstation as a part of continuous improvement.
