2002 Graduated with a MSN and passed AANC certification and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified.
Wok History:
1992 Started working full time at Baptist, St. Anthony's Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Most of my time was working in Surgery Intensive Care, Medical Intensive Care and the Cardiac Care Unit. Left in 2000 to work on Graduate Work.
2000 thru 2002 work at the Veterans Health Care Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit as an R.N. while in Graduate school.
2002 Graduated from West Texas A & M University with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner and started working in a Family Medicine Clinic from May,2003 to April 2003. I saw all ages of patients with many different diagnoses. My supervisor Physician was Dr. Gary Hilton.
2003 Started a Job as a Nurse Practitioner in the Occupational Clinic at the Pantex Plant. I did physical exams on the employees. I took care Occupational injuries. Government rules and regulations covered employees’ fitness for duty in different groups of workers. Monitored employees to keep employees well and safe for their jobs. During my time at Pantex, I worked closely with the Psychiatric clinic in our building. My Supervisor was Dr. David Paul.
