This project is to increase the number of Homeowners tiers and make changes
to the criteria used in USAA's tiering model. The new tier placement
criteria will include introducing new factors (for example Age of home,
corporate tenure and weather and non-weather losses etc.) and new rules in
tier derivation. These new factors and rules will make the homeowner's
policies to get a more appropriate rate for each risk so that policies can
be rated with more appropriate premiums.

Brotherhood and Aid Association for Lutherans. AAL/LB is the largest
fraternal benefit society in the United States. Because of the Merger, many
systems had to be consolidated and rebuilt. The scope of the Project is
to develop new programs and modify existing programs for merging their
financial operations. The Project involves removal of redundant system and
integrating the Finance operations related to premium payment. This project
allowed Thrivent to achieve significant benefits through reducing costs,
eliminating redundancies, improving cross-marketing opportunities, and
increasing quality through adoption of the best practices of both
organizations. Integration of the premium processing, accounting and
reporting areas.
