Job Target: Video Editor/Motion Designer

Summary

I am a motivated Video Editor/Motion Designer, seeking position to Develop, edit and compose video content, I’m a competent storyteller, adept at using right effects to enliven seemingly flat moments that are sometimes the core of an event, or brining focus to an otherwise chaotic scene. By manipulating lights, colors and audio to create the best mood required for telling the story in the most memorable form.

Having a good working knowledge of various video formats including different resolutions and aspect ratio for specific out-put solutions; working in both Mac Os and Window’s environments.

Video/Motion Graphics

I’m experienced with storytelling concepts, branding, creative animations with motion controls, digital color corrections and or adjustments. I specialized in creative presentation of event videos, and improvement of production designs for promotions. I have a keen eye for quality and am deadline driven. I am a proficient user of, Final cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Aftereffects, Photoshop, Flash Pro, Encore and DVD Studio Pro.

My skills include;

In Final Cut Pro & Adobe Premiere:

Includes create storyboard layout, set parameters for story’s including selecting the required setting and resolutions, log and capture, batch capture, time sync to timeline with added tracts for multi tract edits, cut insert and or slide clips, create composition points in sequent, correct white balance, adjust and or make global color corrections, create chapters, add and or custom create transitions, adjust audio (via Audio mixer or Soundbooth), create scrolling or crawling text, and or dynamic text using “live type”. Prepare files to exports for broadcast, DVD, Bluray disc. or streaming for Internet.

Adobe After Effects:

Project creation, establish required settings, prepare and import assets (media i.e. Video, audio, stills, text) adjust compositions and layer settings as needed, create mask for effect or animated mask, pre-composing and nesting composition, including mattes, and or stencils in building composition, using light effects, 3d layers, working in 3d environment including using “Zaxwerks 3d invigorator”, adding and animating cameras (using null to point at) and or lights.

I create animations to specific times and themes while maintaining brands and the required look, feel and mood.

Adobe Photoshop:

Importing and or image creations, scans using flatbed scanners (for analog conversion) adjusting resolution and making tonal corrections, (using curves levels and nonlinear methods), creating stills to be used as slides or titles, blending images, feathering, creating and using required effects with various plug ins, creating mask, clipping paths and adding alpha channels for video stills and or travel mattes, create menus and or buttons for DVD and or Bluray.

DVD Studio Pro & Adobe Encore:

Set Parameters for project, import assets, select and set preferred encode formats, create timelines insert chapter markers, create stories or play list from chapters, for user side interactivity; create layered and or motion menus, create and assign buttons links to menus, tract and stories or chapter play list set search, first play, highlights and end jump or end action scripts, build and burn to disc or create disc image ready for duplication.
