Red Rock Community Church - Church Planter/Pastor

July 2010 - Present

Moved to the community and started the church. After six years, the church is thriving and is transitioning to a new pastor with my assistance. Help the church develop its mission/vision statement..

ROLE OF TRANSITIONAL PASTOR

Goal and mission of a transitional pastor is to: help the church “transition” from one pastor to the next pastor; to help the church develop its mission/vision statement; and to bring unity to the church fellowship.

First Baptist Church, Florence AZ – Transitional Pastor

May 2009 - May 2010

Attendance and offerings increased, as well as church unity following the forced removal of the pastor. About 23 persons received Christ and were baptized. Another 16 united with the church on transfer of membership or by statement.

Muldoon Road Baptist Church, Anchorage, AK - Transitional Pastor

February 2007 to February 2009

Attendance and offerings increased, as did the unity of the church following various challenges in and among the church following the forced removal of an interim pastor. About 50 people were baptized, with another 50 or so uniting with the church on transfer of membership or by statement. The church called a pastor prior to my leaving, who ministered along side me for about six months.

Chugach Baptist Association, Anchorage, AK - Transitional Director of Missions

September 2006 – February 2007

Goal was to bring unity to the churches and pastors, which was accomplished. The association called a permanent director of missions while I was transitional director of missions.

Have served as full time pastor; and planting several churches.
