1.Implements Company’s Health and Safety Policies and Practices. Conduct occupational health and safety trainings in the brewery and reduce the risks and costs associated with work related accidents/incidents.

2.Tracking and investigating accidents and incidents/near misses while developing and maintaining site emergency response management system in the brewery

3.Determining and implementing brewery’s safe working procedure concerning good housekeeping and contractors’ safety management.

4.Providing professional/technical/competent advice on all areas of safety in the work place, to all on site and enforcing the implementation of corporate safety standards while supporting the implementation of periodic safety certification.

5.Issuance of permit to work for risk based jobs such as working at height, hot work, electrical work, confined space entry and civil works in the brewery to all 3rd party contractors. Liaise with all stakeholders in the brewery in the implementation of permit to work system.

Job Objective;

To coordinate the SHE standards implementation and continuous improvement, provide support to departments, facilitate SHE reporting according to the overall SHE policy in the OPCO.

Responsibilities;

1.Supports the implementation of health, safety and environmental policy through presentations to create and maintain awareness of personnel.

2.Translates the rules, standards and procedures from Global Supply Chain for the local circumstances and brought to the attention of the responsible persons.

3.On the order of the site manager, deploys activities to execute the safety and environmental program of the production site and to develop, implement and maintain a safety management system.

4.Ensures the brewery complies with relevant legislation and regulation (safety and environment) by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements.

Job Objective;

To lead and develop production teams to deliver quality products (FTR) at set targets and efficiency while ensuring health and safety. Responsible for the right quality of operators, and for addressing any deviations from standards.

1.Effectively manage the packaging process and realize the production plan by ensuring the optimal engagement of people and overseeing the interfaces with other production processes.

1.Work jointly with operations planning group to develop the daily production schedule to efficiently meet customer orders, optimize labor, and minimize product changeovers.

4.Establish working relationships with maintenance engineers to plan and schedule repairs, issue work orders and preventative maintenance while overseeing operation of packaging department equipment, and troubleshooting and solving problems with processing equipment needed to maintain operations.
