2015 – 2016 - Education Support Center
Assisted current and former students with problems on their student loans, and was able to help many
either refinance or in many cases receive a deferment. Through my assistance and ability I was able to
close a high percentage, almost 90% of all calls.
2010 - 2015 - Insurance Sales - Various Companies
Sold insurance, Health and Life, to include final expense to individuals through leads purchased by me
and from the companies. High closing rate and satisfied clients. I am licensed in California, Texas,
Michigan and Oregon.
2009 – 2010 – Director, Debt Settlement – Christian Lawyers of America
Worked with an attorney in setting up and running a debt settlement program for people that had credit
problems. I have an extensive understanding of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and used
my experience to help our clients settle their debt. Was used to close prospects and to help elicit new
business.
2008 – 2009 – Credit Repair Specialist – The Credit Repair Specialists
Set up and ran my own credit repair company. Worked extensively with mortgage brokers and loan
officers in the repair of individual credit. Very successful in the operations and also became an expert in
credit regulations.

Independent LO. Ran my own self-generated lead s. Processed all applications. Prepared possible loan
scenarios. Closed loans.
2004-2006 – Managing Partner – Kevin Elmore & Associates
Opened and ran the day to day operations of a mortgage office, employing 6 loan officers, 6
telemarketers and an administrative staff of 1 processor. Worked with lenders in numerous states
preparing loan options for clients. Responsible for assisting the loan officers in the closing of loans, which
were generated via the telephone.
2003-2004 - Senior Loan Officer – American Mortgage Specialists
Assisted in the opening of a San Diego office. Prepared possible loan scenarios, matching lenders to
prospects. Analyzed financial data to ensure that there was a match between the borrower and lender.
The effectiveness of my in home presentations led to a close ratio of almost 90%.
2001-2003 - Independent Mortgage Broker – Your Money Store
Marketed leads provided by myself. Had commissions of $120k during 2002, from May – December.
Managed a group of 5 loan officers, assisting them in finding lenders for prime, subprime, VA and
commercial loans.
2000-2001 - Loan Officer – Amerigroup Mortgage Corporation
Sold the concept of VA streamline financing to Veterans. Ran pre-set appointments and made in-home
presentations. Very successful in the refinancing of VA home loans. Had a close ratio of 85%. Assisted
the manager in the day-to-day operations of the office, to include, but not limited to helping save loans
when the customer’s encountered “buyers remorse”.
1999-2000 - Loan Officer – Money Direct Mortgage
Involved in the sale of VA streamline refinancing. Took sales calls and converted the suspects into
prospects. Exceptional phone skills led me to be very successful. I was able to gain trust in an expedient
manner, leading to the sale.
1999-1999 - Loan Officer - Fairway Financial Services
Sold new home loans. Refinanced existing home loans, to include home equity and home improvement.
Effectively marketed my product through telemarketing, direct mail, and referrals from satisfied clients.
Maintained outstanding client satisfaction.
1998-1999 - Loan Officer - Rockwell Financial Group
Worked as a Loan Officer for a multi-faceted mortgage company. Responsible for putting together loan
packages for clients, locating the best rates and terms. Was “Salesman of the Quarter”, for the quarter
ending March 31, 2000.
1997-1998 - Regional Manager - Mortgage Investo rs Corporation
Responsible for a sales team of 10 loan officers. Implemented a training program to increase the sales,
and generate a lower percentage of loan cancellations. I’ve always been a great motivator, and have
instilled in the loan officers I’m responsible for, the same motivation.
Accountant - Over 20 years, involved in accounting at the Federal, State and private level. Progressed
from a staff accountant to positions as diverse as City Treasurer for Buena Park, California. Served as a
controller for 2 different private industries.
