Responsibility

The Quality Manager provides assessments and drives continuous improvement of the Quality for Kennametal through management of the internal audit program, SOP system, as well as internal and external customer feedback. Act as a change agent to lead, facilitate, and manage change across the organization. Work is performed with a high degree of independence and is subject to review by the Corporate Management Team.

• Lead the team to promote and enforce company quality requirements

• Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.

• Drive QA implementation and adherence to standard processes while supporting continuous improvement Create and manage TCoE operational budgets for a portfolio of functions

• Responsible for maintaining relationships with business users as necessary Deliver managed savings targeted for TCoE

• Ensures the periodically review of the QA program and the creation of new or revised procedures to effect improvements

• Interfaces with customers (international and domestic) to develop/implement systems that create customer value

• Oversees all QA activities and processes for SAP systems

• Maintain ISO 9001 system and lead the team to conduct the periodical internal audits

• Supervise Quality Engineer, Quality Technicians, Group Leader and hourly employees (15 people)
