Laser Operations Supervisor (2015 – Present)
Guide the work of 15 employees over three shifts. Train employees on laser operations; implement/enforce policies and procedures, and create daily production reports. Maintain four Flatbed Trumpf L3030 C02 lasers, and one Trumpf 5040 Fiber laser; order/replace repair parts, consumables, and plant supplies. Code transactions to correct accounts. Perform semiannual and annual preventative maintenance; troubleshoot machine issues and report estimated downtimes/projected costs.
Selected Contributions:
Update employees daily using JSA and tool box talks.
Assure that every machine has sufficient work programmed to remain active.
Multi-Craft Maintenance (2014 – 2015)
Performed routine/preventive maintenance on two steel slitter lines, a multi-blanking line, cut to length stretch leveler line, two Trumpf CO2, one fiber flatbed laser, and two 35-ton and one 25-ton bridge cranes; maintained several small jib cranes/sheet lifting devices. Completed general welding, plasma, and torch-cutting skills; completed electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting. Changed repair parts, troubleshot variable speed drives, electric motors and gearboxes, single/three-phase, and servo motors, contactors, and relays of various types/voltage ranges.

Troubleshot PLCs/relay logic using an advanced knowledge of process control; maintained skills in multiple sensor types including inductive, capacitive, and hall-effect type proximity sensors.
