Manager, Human Resources
Cameron LNG - Houston, TX - December 2014 to Present
• Managed a Human Resources staff of four (4) consisting of a payroll and benefits administrator, human resource generalist, and two contract recruiters.
• Chairperson of the Human Resource technical committee meeting with the Joint Venture Partners where we would discuss on a quarterly basis status of recruitment, any personnel changes that could be coming up and any changes that the VP of Human Resources will be bringing to the upcoming board meeting.
• Managed all employee relations with strict confidentiality for the Corporate Office, Operations division and Engineering and Construction division.
• Devised and implemented and trained employee population on several HR policies Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreements, and IT Usage and Security.
• Devised, implemented and trained on a performance management process that would be successful in engaging employees in their day to day work as well as developing the desired culture.
• Annually partnered with the Senior Management team to calculate merit increase, promotional increases and short-term incentive amounts.
• Devised three relocation policies that were suitable for our business (temporary relocation, domestic relocation and international relocation). Partnering with our procurement department selected a reputable vendor to partner with to execute these policies.
• Together with our procurement team completed a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a benefits consultant/ broker. Designed the benefit offering (retirement and health and welfare) for 2015 with the assistance of our benefit advisors and approved by our benefits committee.
• Successfully implemented the full ADP Workforce Now HRIS system, which included recruitment, talent management, self-service, payroll and benefits.
• Oversaw the bi-weekly payroll processing of approximately 220 exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Managed on-boarding process for all new hires, which includes: executed offer letter, pre-employment contingencies (drug screen, DOT testing, cognitive tests, physical tests, background screen) dependent on the position, relocation, pre-employment paperwork and new hire orientation.
• Streamlined, process mapped and trained managers on the recruitment process in order to expedite searches and make the process more effective for all parties involved.
• Successfully recruited in accordance with the staffing plan for the 2015 year, approximately 140 positions across all divisions.

• Performed talent Management review with all line and senior managers for succession planning and leadership development purposes.

• Process biweekly and semimonthly payroll for about 1,300 employees: processing payroll, retirement contribution processing and funding, new hire paperwork and manual checks.
• After each payroll is finalized create journal entry for accounting, balance benefit deductions on payroll registers to benefit bills.
• The HRIS system malfunctioned and deleted all vacation accruals and taken amounts worked with other payroll processors to get all 1,300 employee balances corrected within 2 months. Payroll / Accounting Administrator

• Accurately processed all technician invoices to ensure that all payments were collected and posted correctly
(payroll was based upon this data).
• Precisely calculated all payrolls (hourly and variable commission pay) for the electrical and plumbing divisions.
