Experience
EXTERN UC DAVIS MEDICAL CENTER SACRAMENTO OCTOBER-MARCH
In the six month period spent at UC Davis I was introduced to and produced diagnostic studies on patients with advanced cardiac pathology. I worked in an acute care facility specializing in inpatient care that included intensive care units, the Emergency Department and Burn Unit. The UCD echo lab is ICAEL accredited and the protocol in which I was trained reflected this status.
INTERN KAISER SACRAMENTO MARCH-SEPTEMBER
I have participated in TEE procedures and conducted contrast studies and stress echoes.
This includes pharmacological dobutamine stress echoes, definity contrast, and saline bubble studies.
My responsibilities included leak testing TEE probes before use, and sterilizing them after a procedure.
