TESTRONIC LABS – Key Account Manager for Buena Vista Home Entertainment (2006 – 2007)
Managed the testing for all disc’s produced by the BVHE worldwide production team. Oversaw all disc testing for worldwide BVHE master disc and provided client with a technical report. Supervised testing on the Menu, to make sure the navigation worked, correct languages, subtitles and any special content from the territory. Also
reviewed the disc on all playback equipment for the consumer worldwide. Weekly meetings at Disney with authoring facilities and statistical reports tracking any mistakes.
FOX HOME ENTERTAINMENT – Manager Worldwide DVD Production and Deluxe Digital Services (2002 – 2005)
Created worldwide disc specifications for each title and territory. The foreign licensee would review and make any changes they required, prior to production. Including the foreign languages, subtitles and any special additional content posted on our FTP site. Scheduled all authoring, encoding, compression, anti-piracy practices, encryption, watermark, legal issues, copyright and final disc approval or rejection.
WARNER BROS. HOME ENTERTAINMENT – Manager of International DVD Production (1998 – 2002)
Pioneered the DVD format worldwide and supervised mastering international discs used for manufacturing in the territory. We create an excel timeline to track elements for (15) titles per month. The timeline tracks digital mastering, additional elements and delivery dates for the, menus, subtitles, cc, foreign languages. Components required, for the international disc, sent to the authoring facility, for compression, encoding, video and audio.
TURNER BROADCASTING (HANNA-BARBERA) – Executive Director, Library Technical Services (1996 – 1998)
Oversaw the budget for the million dollar HB analog to digital of the “Cartoon Classics” for the worldwide launch of Cartoon Network. Weekly budget meetings with key Vice Presidents of HB and Turner, marketing directives from HB on mastering programs. Oversaw quality control, resolve technical issues with the analog to digital transfer as old animation, can have artifacts and ghosting effects that are difficult to fix. Responsible for a final approval of the D1 for Hanna-Barbera and the digital master would go to Turner for vaulting and added to the database.
