Professional Summary

Worldwide Drilling Engineering and Operations background for medium and major oil companies provides a very unique background with a proven track record in delivering $1 million to $14 billion dollar projects. Career based in the Gulf of Mexico, Arctic, Eastern Europe, Africa and Caribbean. Thirty years of experience has cultivated cross cultural awareness, leadership, team work, and process skills to deliver multi-faction projects, including BP’s first subsea project (Juniper) in Trinidad and Tobago.

Summary of Experience

2000 - 2016 BP Engineering and Operations

2014 - 2016 BP Port of Spain, Trinidad

Wells Superintendent

• Delivery of the first floating drilling operation for BP Trinidad.

• Prepare offshore “Capping and Containment Plan” for handling potential well control situations.

• Project manager for a custom designed (Intermoor Engineering) permanent preset pile mooring system that was delivered on time 1 year with a budget of ($16 million). Pre-installation of the mooring system reduced the risk of the drilling rig waiting on weather during rough sea states to install mooring lines. ($8 million and 30 days rig time).

• Project leader for the delivery of a 40 year old Diamond Ocean Victory drilling rig into Trinidad. Engineering for required rig modifications to drill wells within BP’s new policies (i.e. API Standard 53 and 54) and required BP procedures.

• Led multi-discipline and site, engineering/operation/subsurface teams to reduce well complexity and risk to meet an aggressive delivery date prior to a heavy lift vessel arriving to install the subsea infrastructure. Saving approximately 30 days and $30 million.

• Supervised the 3 well batch drilling /optimization programs that helped save 15 days and 15 million. 2013 - 2014 BP Sunbury, UK

Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) Leader (Special Project)

• Performed Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on global high priority wells with high Non Productive Time (NPT) (>$30 million) associated with loss circulation events. Performed generic loss circulation RCFA and used regional loss circulation events to develop an overall plan to help reduce similar events. The plan was approved and implemented by the Wells Executive Committee. Results show that loss circulation events are no longer a major concern.

2012 - 2013 BP Algeria, Sunbury, UK

Engineering Team Leader

• Led multi-site engineering team (Algeria field/UK office), developed an exploration BOD and Drilling program for remote desert drilling operation, which included the development of an onshore desert water strategy plan.

• Developed a Well Control Response Plan for offshore Libya that meet both BP and foreign government requirements.

2010 - 2012 BP Exploration, Sunbury, UK

Wells Project Leader

• Delivered the front-end wells engineering SOR and BOD’s, long lead equipment, rig design and procurement, wells cost and scheduling, and project and subsurface interface for a 300 well $14 Billion dollar tight gas project in Oman.

• Developed infrastructure plans required for early works to support desert drilling operations (i.e. water requirements, oil base mud, cutting re-injection wells, produced water injection and reverse osmosis plants, roads and pads).

2007 - 2010 BP Exploration, Cairo, Egypt

Drilling Supervisor - Gulf of Suez Jackup operations Steve Campbell -page 2

• Responsible for all rig operations (Drilling/Completion/Well integrity).

• Utilized RSS and high tech motor/bit combinations to reduce drilling cost and non-productive time by 20%, developed procedures for perforating high H2S oil wells (1200 ppm) without the use of production facilities or testing equipment which helped bring on an additional 50,000 BOPD into the pipeline 2 months ahead of plan.

2003 - 2007 BP Exploration, Baku, Azerbaijan

Sr. Drilling Engineer - Floater and Platform Rig Operations

• Supervise a multi discipline team of drilling engineers and geologist to plan and drill eight (8) Subsea wells from a floater in 9 months. Project completed 30 days ahead of plan. Developed a pump and pull technique for CaCo3 additions to deal with wellbore stability challenges saving 6 days per well. Project manager for a $1.4 Billion dollar subsea project from sanction into full execution. 2000 - 2003 BP Exploration, Anchorage, Alaska

Operations Engineer

• Ledengineering, drilling and completions operations for $73 million, 35 well multi-lateral. The program was delivered 2 months ahead of plan. Drilling cost reduced by 47% from previous drilling year by reducing risk and cost savings initiatives (i.e. mud cost, faster penetration rates, reduced bit cost, and mud disposal), installation of the World’s first Baker 7” Hookwall Hanger junction. 1998 -2000 Newfield Exploration Houston, TX

Operations Manager

• Engineering and Operations Manager for two (2) offshore jackup drilling rigs Gulf of Mexico. Delivered 3 HPHT exploration wells with total project budget of $27 million and 9% under budget. 1992 -98 Applied Drilling Technology Inc. (Subsidiary of Global Marine Inc.) Houston, TX Staff Engineer

• Prepare drilling designs and cost estimates for Turnkey Bid Offshore, Gulf of Mexico.

• Operations engineering support for Drilling Superintendents.

• Drilled 15 and planned 50 wells per year.

1991 –92 Challenger Minerals Inc. (Subsidiary of Global Marine Inc.) Houston, TX Staff Engineer

• Responsible two (2) offshore platforms (GOM) and 35 onshore oil & gas wells.

• Engineered and supervise work overs, P&A and platform decommission.

• Prepare environmental contingency plans and related reports. 1988 – 91 Fluor Daniel; Houston, TX

Project Controls Engineer

1983 – 88 J.D.S. Oil and Gas; Haughton, LA (family business) Operations

• Work over and production responsibilities for 53 land producing wells. 1980 – 83 Pennzoil Producing Company; Shreveport, LA Engineer (Summer)

• Gained infield experience with deep gas injection recovery systems. Education
