Highland Hospital, Oakland CA 10/2015-6/01/2016 Utilization Review/ RN Case Management (Travel Position): Ensure appropriate level of care through comprehensive concurrent review for medical necessity of inpatient care, as well as the utilization of ancillary services, following evaluation of medical guidelines and benefit determination (Medicare, Medical). In conjunction with other members of the IDT, provide discharge planning, referrals, DME arrangements, transportation, etc.

St Vincent Hospital, Billings MT 06/2014-7/2015

Utilization Review/ RN Case Management (06/2014-08/01/2015): Utilization review of medical records for inpatient medical necessity for appropriate patient status (Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance).
