Responsibility:

My responsibilities for management and delivery of enterprise reporting solutions supporting Risk and Finance practices included, but was not limited to, responsibility for report and dashboard development and enhancements, requirements review, release planning/management, QlikView Off-shore team Management, and BI tool issue resolution.

Led Demand Management Process. Created a demand entry using the Enterprise Change Management System (Work Front), when consider a new demand, break-fix or report modification. Organized and tracked demands, so I could monitor development resources month over month to ensure we’re using them in the best of our capacity.

Prepared the estimates within reason and get tracked, so we can monitor consumed vs used.

Reviewed impact analysis conducted by off-shore to determine if there are any gaps in the BRD or other requirements documentation that required clarification from the requestor to ensure the app is not break.

By CFO request, created a new BRD (Business requirement document) Template, with Data Mapping Fields table, which is in use for now and for future dashboards.

Held Architecture and Design sessions between on and Off-shore teams to create high level, logical design documents for large projects. Used my senior QlikView developer experience to help Off-shore team in development and design of Credit Risk Executive Dashboard.

Proposed four different models to integrate the data based on granularity, level of complexity, performance. By reviewing source tables from Risk Data Mart, made a suggestion to use one Fact table with aggregated data, which led to star schema Data model in QlikView, considered an Incremental Load and thus, improving dashboard performance.

Created two Project Plans for the dashboards with coordination of QA & Prod release dates and migrations well ahead of time. Emphasized on Sprint levels, Tasks to accomplish, Dates, Team’s responsibilities, as well with high level estimates to determine the number of Units of Value (UoV) that are required to complete the development process. It helped Company to keep dashboard development within a budget and ensured the dashboards get developed on time.

Unit /SIT Testing. Provided relevant Test cases to the developers to ensure all scenarios are properly tested, reviewed SQL validation quarries to confirm test results for quality and adherence to the requirements. Enhanced the SIT Template to increase the advocacy of testing.

Participated in dashboard certification meeting (DCM) to ensure all standards are followed prior to migration of the application to QA.

Developed Executive Financial Dashboard for Corporate Controller and SFOs to assess quarterly consolidated financials for actuals, plan, and forecast.

As a part of the project, helped to build: Consolidated Financial Dashboard, Segment Financial Dashboards for Consumer, Mortgage, and Wholesale, LOB (Line of Business) and Account Details.
