Accomplishments

All the skills required of a skilled optician in addition to training others and keeping a lab running including doing dispensing duties.
Optician
Tarantino Eye Center - Glen Burnie, MD - October 2012 to August 2015 I currently work at this office in Glen Burnie working one on one with patients in purchasing glasses as well as billing and repair work. A large part of my job is helping patients by answering questions in regards to optics and general inquiries. Given the sensitive environment that I'm currently in, people skills and a positive attitude are necessary daily, as well as an enthusiasm for physical labor and learning new skills on a regular basis. Also, I run the optical alone for days, and rarely weeks at a time. Retail Sales Associate
Oakley Corp - May 2012 to January 2013
Being mainly stationed out of the Oakley Vault in Arundel Mills, I worked full time on the retail sales floor helping customers with sunglass needs as well as training new employees. Additionally, I was also sent to Optometry and Ophthalmology offices in the Maryland area to deliver presentations and train employees in product knowledge.
