Production Manager

Plan, direct and coordinate all manufacturing functions pursuit to achieving plant initiatives and goals as they relate to safety, quality, productivity, and on-time-delivery, within the confines of the plant budget.

Communicate with plant personnel, at all levels, to ensure alignment with plant objectives.

Coordinate with maintenance and other support departments to achieve the production plan and master schedule while meeting diversified production schedules within established time lines, maintaining quality and cost standards to allow new production opportunities (pieces/man-hour, monthly man-hours/shipped pieces)

AXION RECYCLED PLASTICS, Zanesville, OH (non-union shop) 7/2014 - 3/2015

Plant Manager

Managed plastics recycling facility through operational shutdown & rebuilding transition.

Reduced staff from 60 to 15 to eliminate poor accountability, followed by a hiring campaign to rebuild staff to 70.

Designed and built staffing plan to accommodate a 4 crew, 24x7 operation.

Originator of improved attendance policies, off-shift differential provisions, & work instruction system.
