PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1 Administration Officer from March 2011 to September 2011

Stamford College

Responsible to key the block entries of the examination papers to CAE (Centre of Academic Excellence)

for record purposes.

The Faculty Head of CAE will sign the examination papers and rate the lecturer.

Thereafter the return date and rating of the lecturer are recorded and save in the desktop.

The examination papers are returned to the examination department.

Later the examination department will coordinate with the CAE to send the block entries

examination question papers with the Notice date for the CAE to prepare for the Board

Meeting to be scheduled according to the Notice date.

CAE will prepare the commended examination papers by the lecture to the Faculty Head of CAE.

Prepare the Students Assessment Report for the year end.

Meanwhile CAE have to prepare the Analysis of Examination results by Centre and course for the

year end report.

2. Marketing Executive from June 2009 to January 2010

MUST (MALAYSIA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY)

Calling prospective students on telephone to register for the new intake of courses.

Attend to walk-in students to discuss the various courses the university offers,

time schedule and the fee structure.

Work in team for education fairs and roadshows during the week-ends.

Register new students for the Foundation & Postgraduate courses.

Maintain records of students files by using Microsoft Excel for the various courses.

Liaise with the Immigration Department for purposes of obtaining documents relating to International Students.

Administer, coordinate and manage the Total Assisted Student Centre (TASC)

Type out the hire purchase agreement for customers to sign for the hire purchase loans.

In the account department sort out banking entries vouchers of the different departments record them in the various books of the account entries and compile the recorded transactions.

From 2011 I have worked in part-time jobs. The employment agency send me an email and brief me of the scope of this part-time job. The part-time job is for a duration of 3 months. I reply that I will take up this job. I have to work in Dutch Lady as part of the calling pool. The hours are from 9 am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday). Each of the applicant has been allotted the names of the respective companies to invite the management such as the senior manager to attend the Hari Raya Puasa opening dinner. I have to record the respective names that wish to participate in the gathering and also to key in the Excel of other management staff not attending. At the end of the week I have to give the report to the person in charge the spread sheet that I have compile. I have to work hard for the 3 months.

The Dutch Lady Human Resource Manager was impressed by my results .I continue to work as a part-time staff in Dutch Lady both in the administrative assistant and telemarketing.

At the end of 2013 I was called by the employment agency to work in BMW as a receptionist for a few days when the receptionist was on leave.

In January 2014 I worked in Prudential Insurance where the Agency Manager send me an email through the Job Street to work as a telemarketing. I went for the interview and the Agency Manager initial wanted to engage me as an insurance agent. I turn down the offer and was offered as a part-time telemarketer. I have to do cold calling for interested applicants to attend the interview as an insurance agent.

In January 2015 I send an email to tele-temps to attend an interview. I worked as a part-time administrative assistant. The scope of the work is to receive email overseas students who intend to pursue a course in accounting. I have to search through the networking of the colleges in Malaysia where the college offered the course. For example the college Segi. I have to gather information about the commencement date, the course outline, the fee structure. Being an overseas student studying in Malaysia, I have to check the passport with the college, to know the exchange rate & the medical checkup. I have to send an email to the student to request for personal data, the passport to be scan to me. I have to send the medical report for the student to fill in the application and signed. These students are from Bangladesh .

Languages- Fluent English, can speak Cantonese and Mandarin
