SUMMARY

Planned and managed well site operations of onshore wells by 750/1000/1500/2000 HP, Model ZJ20/30/70 drilling rigs. As a drilling engineer for onshore wells (exploratory and development) carried out well engineering, supervision of operations on site and finally preparation of reports for future records and learning. Served as focal point of contact between drill site service companies’ staff and town based drilling team with objective of delivering a healthy & economic well within given time frame whilst following company QHSE policies
Following are the brief Responsibility
Designed BHA, System hydraulics and drilling parameters.
Preparation of Drilling Program or well program.
Handling Contracts from Rig Operations, such as Directional Drilling contract, Mud Engineering contracts, Mud logging, waste management’s etc.
Bit Selection/ Prepare Drill bit program for assigned wells in comparison offset well performance.
Good Knowledge of Drilling Software and Directional well planning.
Casing Design and cementing .(Supervise on-site Cementing jobs-Single stage, Two stage Cementing)
Prepare analysis report of drilling performance with wells of similar profile depth, depth & geology.
NPT monitoring and preparation.
Prepare the look ahead and forecast of future drilling operations for Rigs.
Daily update of drilling database, Time Depth curve, daily cost tracker, NPT analysis, contractor’s performance graphs.
Optimization of to increase efficiency and reduce the cost of drilling.
Monitor day-to-day drilling rig operation.
Good Knowledge of Rig move, Rig up and Rig Down.
Good Knowledge in Rig Commissioning for New Project Start.
Current Projects:
Well Data: Normally all well are directional, Average well depth is 5200 m. Maximum Angle is 60 deg. Kop is 2800 metre.
Three Casing policy (Sec 17 ”, 12 ” 8 ”)
Two Stage Cementing (Good knowledge of Stage cementing)
Good Knowledge of Casing testing in 2 stage cementing.
Handle Zj 20,30 rigs for Bansankul projects well TD 2000 meters.
Achievement:
Reduce the NPT cost to 1/4th on Mechanical Rig#07.
Saved Bit Cost due to using of NOV fuse Tec bits (Change in previous bit program).
No Stuck pipe from last 8 wells.
Saved Chemicals Cost on Mud due to proper planning of solid control equipment.
