KEY WORK-RELATED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
While at Conklin I’ve assisted, developed, and led on many projects to help the company save money, reduce costs and operate more efficiently. Below are some examples I could expound on:
• $100,000 office remodeling project, including cosmetic as well as HVAC, plumbing and electrical updates.
• Assisted in the development and implementation of a $1.5 Million dollar addition for liquid storage tanks where the EPA and MDA were involved meeting all rules and regulations.
• Chosen to lead team in the demolition and reconstruction of newly purchased headquarters in another state to improve company’s competitive advantage in the marketplace.
• Developed equipment and coordinated removal of HVAC roof-top units and reinstallation saving enormous amounts of crane time and money for the company.
• As the leader in my department I consciously look for ways to be environmentally friendly (i.e. “go green”). Recently we have changed product piping to stainless steel where I designed a new manifold system, implemented lighting change to T8s cutting electrical costs in half and saving approximately $40,000 per year, and recreated an outside dump site into a park/employee picnic area adding beauty to our landscape.
• On the most personal of accomplishments, I have quit smoking.
