Title: Replacement of Separator Level Control Valves in South East Kuwait GC'S (Current Project)

Duration: Since Apr.2014 to till date.

Synopsis: Kuwait Oil Company intends to replace the existing old and obsolete Level Control Valves (LCVs) along with the guard valves, in all twelve (12) GCs.

Scope of Work: Scope of Work of the project included detailed engineering design, material

specification, procurement, fabrication, construction, inspection, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of new Level Control Valves with isolation and bypass valves in twelve (12) S&EK GCs.

Dismantling of existing Level Control Valves, Control valve header and Piping Works in all twelve (12) GCs.

Hydraulic study using proper computer simulation (excel sheet is not acceptable) for each separator in all GC's to be done at different scenarios to calculate the pressure drop in piping upstream and downstream of the control valve.

Contractor shall specify the number and size of control valves based on the Hydraulic study and updates the same.

Title: First Potable Water Pipeline Network at West Kuwait Facilities

Duration: Since Mar.2011- Dec.2013

Synopsis: Kuwait Oil Company intends to install a piped potable water supply network in West Kuwait (WK). Existing storage Tanks and new installed pumps located at South Tank Farm (STF) will be used as a source of supply for potable water. New pumping system and storage tanks located at Abdulliyah Pump Station (APS) will cater all WK Facilities. For good operation and trouble free system, new small buffer overhead tank will be installed at Minagish Water Injection Plant (MWIP).

Scope of Work: Scope of Work of the project included detailed engineering design, material specification, procurement, supply, fabrication, erection, construction, inspection, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of a potable water pipeline network (of HDPE material) for West Kuwait, commencing with two (2) electric motor driven pumps, piping tie-ins and connections to existing headers at South Tank Farm (STF) together with potable water tanks and two (2) pumps at Abduliyah Pump Station (APS), an overhead tank at Minagish Water Injection Plant (MWIP), HDPE and carbon steel piping, valves, with associated electrical, civil, instrumentation & control works, all as described further in the relevant parts of the Technical Specifications and Drawings.

The scope of work also included detailed survey of existing overhead (O/H) tanks inside the sixteen (16) WK consumer locations and supply and installation of SS316 float valves along with necessary tank modifications at these locations.

Synopsis: Kuwait Oil Company intends to upgrade the capability of Chemical Injection & Corrosion monitoring to achieve effective internal corrosion and scale through better monitoring for West Kuwait facilities.

Scope of Work: Scope of work includes detailed, design engineering, procurement, supply, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning of the following and also include HAZOP QRA, PHSER and Surge analysis for the complete piping system.

Installation of new chemical injection skids consisting of tanks, pumps (auto stroke) together with piping and necessary instrumentation.

Installation of new additional injection pumps (auto stroke) on to the existing skids.

Installation of new/ additional corrosion & scale monitoring points and sampling points.

Replacing the existing injection nozzles and quills with new retrievable chemical injection fittings and quills.

Scope of Work: The new Fire Protection Systems of latest technology with the gaseous extinguishing systems meeting all relevant codes and standards.

Halon fire protection systems are to be removed from buildings and alternative gaseous extinguishing systems are installed.

Each Floating Roof Tank is fitting with an effective Fire Detection and Protection System to militate against Rim Seal fire events.

The Central Control Rooms equipped with a means of very early fire detection and therefore certain specific areas shall be provided with an automatic / manually operated gaseous fire suppression system.
