Skills & Abilities
MANAGEMENT
I had to learn how to use time management in college. Time management is very important because it helped me to stay under control with my classes and jobs outside of school without being so overwhelmed. I work seven days out of the week. On week days I went to school and on Weekends I worked at a job that was outside of school. I am always on time and ready to work.
COMMUNICATION
I am very good with communication skills. I used to help international students from all over the world with their English courses. Also every job that I have worked at me and all the managers never really have problems because they will assign me a task and I will do it. I am known as a good worker.
I was a Head in Charge of the Cafeteria for a Special needs program and Sectary of the Environmental Health Department at Benedict College.
Experience
CHEMISTRY HARAMBE BENEDICT COLLEGE 3/24/2016-3/24/2016
I volunteered to work at the haram be to show the people a little about chemistry. I did three experiments, the first experiment was with acids and base. Oxygen and fire talking about how fire needs 0xygen in order to start. The last experiment was based on Chromatography with Aspirin to determine if there are more than one drug inside of the one medication.
Dog Watcher CAMP BOW WOW ] 12/05/2015- 09/06/2016
My duty was to look after the dogs inside of the yards and when it was time for them to go back inside their cabin. I gave them water and food. Some dogs needed meds and it was my duty to give it to them.
CAMP JPAC[ SPECIALNEEDSPROOGRAM] 07/02/2013- 08/08/2016
I first started off as a camp counselor. My duty was to help kids with special needs make them feel typical and we practiced typical things with the students. We let them be in classes with typical students to let them interact with one another. It was the best experience I ever had. I was a one on one with a student named Jerimiah. Jerimiah was a nonverbal kid, at first I thought it was going to be hard because he couldn’t talk. But after a while he listened to me and we also played games together. Games that typical people thought he can never do. I was so happy because I broke him out of some of his habits and alternated them with good things. In 2015 I was the Head of the cafeteria.
