EXPERIENCE

1.Project Manager, Richard Design Services, Nov. 2013 to June 2016

Management of engineering projects for Pine Bend Refinery in Minnesota for renovation and replacement of various equipment and systems of the refinery.

2.Project Manager, Mehras Company, January 2013 to September 2013

Gas Refinery Development – $105 million:

Project manager of a gas refinery development in a construction company, responsible for civil and erection activities. The project was at the early stage of site activities.

3.Project Manager, Hirbodan Company, October 2008 to Dec 2012

Power Plant and Utilities of Petrochemical Plant (Shiraz) $90 million:

Responsible for project management in an EPC company. The scope of work comprises establishment of power plant (3 Hitachi H25 gas turbines each with capacity of 29MW and relevant HRSGs and auxiliaries), wet cooling system, water and waste treatment plants, air and N2 production package, diesel generators, switchgears, control system, etc.

4.Project Manager, Mehras Company, September 2002 to October 2008

Gas compression & Injection Plant $240 million:

This project consists of 7 units of Frame 5D GE turbo compressors with an injection capacity of 2000 MMSCFD of sour gas, balance of plant equipment and 40 miles of 24” sour gas pipeline for injection of gas to 22 oil wells. This project was successfully commissioned and handed over to the client in June 2008.

5.Deputy Project Manager, Petropars Ltd, May 2000 to September 2002 $1 billion:

Petropars is the largest company in charge of oil and gas projects as developer and EPC contractor in the region. The major field of activity of company is in South Pars Gas Field Development Projects. The gas reservoir in Persian Gulf is owned by Iran and Qatar, each phase with the contractual price of approximately equal to $1 billion. Project consists of off-shore gas wells drilling, under sea pipeline and on shore gas refinery. I was involved in the company in the following positions:

South Pars Gas Field Development, Phase 1, Deputy Project Manager

South Pars Gas Field Development Project, Phase 4&5 Deputy Project Manager to joint venture of Petropars-AGIP (ENI) Italy.

6.Project Engineering Manager, MAPNA Co., May 1999 to May 2000:

In charge of 30-Units Gas Turbines Project each unit with the capacity of 156 MW supplied by Ansaldo Italy, erected at 7 different job sites.

7.Project Engineer, Deputy Project Manager, Moshanir Power Engineering Consultant, May 1979 to May 1999:

Entrusted with the following assignments:

7.1Deputy Manager Engineering & Power Generation Projects, October 1997 to May 1999

I headed the Deputy Manager Engineering and Generation Projects post and was in charge of thermal power plants included departments such as electrical, mechanical, civil, control and instrumentation. This department rendered engineering and design services in the field of power plants, as well as other industrial projects. About 140 engineers and 60 technicians were engaged in various projects in all departments. I was involved in management of engineering services, detail engineering design, exertion of supervision over the equipment fabrication as overall site supervisor of the projects.

7.2Project Manager, Montazer Combined Cycle Power Plant, April 1996 to 1997

I was appointed as the Project Manager of this Combined Cycle Power Plant Project, which consisted of 3 steam units, each 100 MW.

7.3Project Manager, Fourteen Units of Gas Turbine, September 1991 to April 1996

This project comprised 14 units of Frame 9 GE Gas Turbines, each with the capacity of 123 MW, which were erected at three sites with 230 KV, 132 KV and 400 KV sub-stations respectively. I directed the project, beginning with the selection of sites, carrying out the design, construction and commissioning.

7.4Project Manager, Kish Gas Turbine Power Plant, August 1990 to September 1991

This project consisting of two units of Frame 6 gas turbines, each with the capacity of 37 MW. I directed implementation and exploitation of the project which equipment was supplied by Alsthom France and carried out with the cooperation of local contractors.

7.5Project Manager, Montazer Gas Turbine Power Plant, May 1987 to August 1990

This Project consisted of 6 units of Frame 9 GE gas turbines, each with the capacity of 116 MW as well as the Balance of Plant (BOP) and 230 KV Sub-station which I directed the preliminary and detailed designs, erection and commissioning activities in the Consulting Engineering side. The goods were supplied by Marubeni, John Brown and ABB and the project was implemented by local construction and erection contractors.

7.6Project Manager, Fars 1000 MW Steam Power Plant August, 1985 to May 1987

This project was at the tender phase then, was directed by me until the contract was concluded with ABB of Germany and the Basic Design was carried out. The project was terminated due to financial and contractual outstanding issues between the client and contractor.

7.7Project Engineer, Isfahan 800 MW Steam Power Plant, 1979 to 1984

This Project consisted of 4 units of steam turbines, each with the capacity of 200 MW as well as the Balance of Plant (BOP) and 230 KV Sub-station, implemented by Technoprom Export from Russia.
