PUD 1993-2011 Everett, Washington Superintendent, Energy Control Operations Center Supervise and manage Energy Control Center operations for a service area of approximately 900 square miles. Lead and guide the operational performance of System Dispatchers and Servicemen. Exercise operational control for the electric system that provides service to over 300,000 customers in the service area. Coordinate electric system switching to support system construction and maintenance. Serve as the electric system operational contact with all other District organizations during normal operating periods. Provide for the recovery of the electric system back to normal after major outages including storms and other emergencies.
Led the effort to improve the process to recovery from major emergencies to stay focused on providing excellent customer service with reduced outage periods.
