Hospital Description
Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center is one of the premiere government training hospital located in the heart of Ilocos Region.. Through the years, it evolved into what it is today – a 300 bed sprawling complex made up of 26 different but interconnected buildings, housing the clinical and support services through which the highest quality of service, training and research activities are provided for patients. The institution is a government tertiary hospital boasting its ISO Certified that caters different cases referred to its 22 Full-time Consultants with sub specialties, 30 Part-time Consultants,27 Visiting Consultants, 55 Training Residents and all Residency Training Programs accredited by their respective Specialty Boards of Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Radiology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Anesthesiology, Orthopedics, and ENT – Head and Neck Surgery. It is affiliated with 24 medical and 2 paramedical schools for post-graduate training/rotations in the clinical departments and internship for medical technologists, physical therapists, nurses and midwives.
Al Kharj Armed Forces Hospital formerly known as Riyadh - Al Kharj Hospital (RKH) is under the Ministry of Defense and Aviation. The RKH Programme was founded by the Medical Services Department of MODA to provide health care for the military population of Saudi Arabia. The 200- bed complement at the Al Kharj Military Hospital and still in plan of restructuring to increase its services serves the military employees, dependents and relatives of the Military Factory in Al Kharj. It provides a major portion of the medical services for the military personnel and their dependents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through a full range of diagnostic and management facilities for patients ranging in age from the neonate to the elderly. The institution has an excellent reputation, both in the Middle East and in the West for the quality of patient care provided, annual symposiums and for the research papers published in most reputable journals.

Staff Nurse
Provides direct quality nursing care to the patients and initiates patient assessment to determine immediate care needs
Collects pertinent informations from the patient and takes vital signs
Determines the standards of care needed to develop care plan
Monitors patients from time to time and provides the necessary independent nursing interventions before referring.
Politely reports to the physician for any changes in the patient’s status

Manages injuries and other emergency situations and sets priorities by practicing the triage skills
