Manage a team of engineers, analysts and technicians to ensure that the customer’s bid requirements are met.

Responsible for assuring compliance with ISO 9001 management procedures and commitments, with a primary focus on document control and records management, as well as overseeing updates and communicating changes to the document control processes.

Coordinate and oversee facility audits (internal, external) in order to verify that regulatory and quality requirements have been met.

Safety Relief Valve Cycle Time Improvement: Savings $119,802; 40% lead time reduction

Focused on reducing cycle time for the safety relief valve body by decreasing non-value added activities and examining logistical layout, which created an opportunity for cycle time as well as cost reduction.

Improve Efficiency for After the Fact Process: Savings $23,312; 57% cycle time reduction

Created a template to use when requesting after the fact documentation as well as a reference guide on where the desired information is located on the valve. In addition, an automated response system was generated with a tracking number to notify the requester that the request has been received.

Defect Reduction of Valve Production Process: Savings $23,135; 62% reduction in NCRs

A modified flange protector was developed and produced that would allow continuous protection of the flange raised face throughout the production process, reducing the opportunity of damaging during assembly, test and paint. A pneumatic flange facer was also acquired to eliminate of manually repairing flange raised face and potential safety hazard.
