Company Profile:

1.ADANI INFRA LTD., Adani Power is setting up 648 MW Integrated Solar Power Park at Kamuthi, Tamil Nadu state. The project is divided into 5 units of 3x72 MW and 2x216 MW capacities.

Roles &Responsibilities:

Working as a Associate -Electrical to ensure that the Plant meets the design requirements-safely & reliably.

Supervision of cable laying and termination work for DC and AC systems.

Smooth execution of work at site according to approved standards & drawings.

Dealing, negotiations and coordination with various vendors and Sub-Contractors.

Setting up Commissioning procedure, Statrtup procedure of plant equipments.

Inspection, Supervision & Witness of Site Tests & Commissioning.

Operation and Maintenance of DC and AC systems of Solar plant.

Review/Approval of Engineering Documents,Drawings, and as-built documents.

Verification of the compliance of test results with the design and reliability requirements.

Performing functional and operational tests of various equipment’s in order to prepare the equipment for the first start up.

Technical Skills:

Handled solar plant equipments String Combiner Box (SCB), Solar Modules, Solar Inverters- 1.25 MW (Hitachi), 1 MW ABB make.

Knowledge of Series parallel connection of Solar Modules.

Pre-commissioning and commissioning checks of DC system- verifying the string voltage and connections as per the string diagram.

Cable laying, Termination and Testing up to 300Sq.mm.

Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Inverter duty transformers of 5MVA, 4MVA (Schneider Make).

Stability test of transformers (45 MVA, 120 MVA).

Erection and Commissioning of 3 way & 4 way RMU’s and Switchgears (33KV-Siemens).

Complete Operational and Auto, Manual Testing of Transformer Cooling system, RTCC & OLTC system and Fire protection system.

Handled numerical relays –RET 650, Bay Control Unit- REB 650 of ABB Make.

Operation and maintenance of all the above equipments both from local and SCADA to ensure maximum generation.

Roles&Responsibilities:

Working as Assistant Manager (E&I)- Responsible for all work from commissioning & post-Commissioning activities, reporting to Manager (E & I),leading a team of engineers,Supervisors & technicians. Brief responsibilities are as follows.

Supervision of cable laying and termination work for entire BTG area.

Evaluation of feasibility of drawings with respect to site condition and make necessary changes in coordination with design team to freeze final drawings.

Planning & monitoring of site activities, cost & quality constraints.

Coordination with mechanical, Process & Procurement departments.

Monitor progress & prepare monthly progress reports.

Effective utilization of resources & Man-power management to increase productivity.

Technical Skills:

HI POT test, CT polarity and saturation, CT/PT turns Ratio by primary injection and VCB testing of 11KV & 3.3KV switchgears.

Profound knowledge of various phases of projects such as power receiving, initial oil firing, steam blowing, turbine rolling and synchronizing.

Commissioning and initial startup of large size motors BFP, CW, CEP, CCW.

Knowledge of Generator Class-A, Class-B, Class-C protections and trip matrix.

Involved in testing and commissioning of various transformers, Station Transformer (90MVA), and Generator Transformer bank (3 x 285MVA)- Areva make.

Handling Dual source to DATA CENTRE Around 16000 Sqft.

Operation & maintenance of 2000KVA OF EMERSON MAKE UPS & battery banks.

Annual overhauling and regular maintenance checks of 1500KVA Diesel Generator.
