Career Overview

I have been working in the health Insurance field for over eight years now. I process Medicaid and Medicare claims. I have also supervised over twenty employees doing the same thing for a short time. With my current job I am required to learn quickly with keeping the quality at over 99.5% at all times.

I did start my Health care career at Aetna Health Plans in 1994 working customer service with the Retired Teachers of America plan. I then went to a contractor who sent me into the office of other Health Insurance companies. Example I worked at Anthem doing claims and Humana doing customer service and claims

Accomplishments

I was promoted to a supervisor for about six months just recently. I was asked to stay on as supervisor, however I preferred working at home processing. The supervisor position required a lot of phone meetings that did not fit in the schedule I needed.
