EXPERIENCE

Allied Barton San Diego, CA 2007 – present

Hospital Security Officer. Patrol hospital property and report any violations, safety hazards, or other discrepancies. Monitor cameras and notify patrol guard of any suspicious activity. Lock down units, prevent patients from leaving unit without a staff member, assist staff with out of control patients, and restrain patients as required. Coordinate actions to ensure proper care and safety of patients and staff. Escort fire department and EMT personnel in and out of building for patient delivery and pick up. Monitor visitors and ensure proper identification; inform visitors of hospital rules and monitor actions. Accurately document all visitor entries and exits, patient behavior, and security incidents. Assist hospital staff in a wide variety of patient services.
