- Created, implemented, and managed VeriSign’s “Customer First” initiative, essentially the first cross-company, post-M&A activity over the course of 49 acquisitions and 47 divestitures. This included creation of the inaugural Enterprise Customer Advisory Board and the VeriSign Strategy Experience, a revolutionary interactive session that was rolled out to 1,100 VeriSign employees globally.
- Led strategic planning and staff management for the EMEA GM. Optimized the EMEA Sales Operations capability through enhancements to Sales Enablement, Reporting & Analytics, Sales Tools & Systems, and Chief of Staff functions. Vice President, Worldwide Sales Engineering
- Successfully restructured a low-performing 60-person technical sales engineering (SE) group in support of VeriSign’s direct and indirect sales organizations. The SE team was instrumental in driving average deal sizes up over 100% and new bookings up 40% from Q1 to Q4, while simultaneously reducing cost of sales from 8.4% to 7.2% of revenue. All of this was done in an environment made challenging by 18 months of restructuring that ended in a planned divestiture of most businesses.
