CAREER PROFILE:

Tata Consultancy Service – IT Services, Consulting, and Business Solution

Solution Architect Dec 2014 – May 2016

Responsible for providing technical expertise on enterprise business solutions using Microsoft technologies across many different industries. Provide training and guidance with Microsoft SharePoint for internal associates.

Project – Integration of data with Hitachi Data Services Health Care Repository Application and TCS Accountable Care Analytics. Analysis service cube used to report on two core measures of High Risk Medication in Elderly and Body Mass Index of patients 18 and over.

Project – Upgrade of SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013 assessment for VMware. Provided recommendations on infrastructure and upgrade approach. Provided analysis of entire SharePoint environment that determined data and site usage. PowerShell scripts were written to retrieve data used in the analysis.

Software Architect July 2014 – Nov 2014

Project – Technical lead on a document management system project for Howard Hughes Corporation. Project objectives were to migrate all documents within different document management systems into SharePoint. Systems included Edoc, Digital Docs, eBuilder, Gems, Salesforce and File Shares. Process involved working with different departments in the organization to identify document taxonomy. Developed applications to perform the document migration into SharePoint. Console applications built using .net and C#.

TDC-Hawaii – IT Solutions Company based in Hawaii.

Senior Software Architect May 2013- May 2014

Provided pre-implementation support (sales meetings, presentations, proposal write-ups)

Project – Developed an accounts payable workflow application for University of Hawaii Foundation. Application objective was to replace a manual approval process done with paper. Application created as web based check request which routed requests to proper account administrator for approval. Integration with financial application with soap web services. Application was created as a full trust farm solution.

Application created in SharePoint 2010 then migrated to SharePoint 2013.

Project – Developed an application to keep track of accounts for consultants at Scott Gardner & Company. Application replaced a manual paper process for tracking accounts for Medicaid clients. Application allowed for client and account creation, reports, and statistics. Application created in SharePoint 2013 using .net and C#.

Project – Developed a branding solution for Hawaii Human Resources Group. Solution involved creating a custom master page for SharePoint 2010 internal intranet as well as a separate master page for external customers.

Application Development Manager June 2008- April 2013

Project – Architected and developed a workflow to help Ranir Corporation approve documents. The workflow specification required that a username and password be needed to approve documents and append an electronic signature to the document. Upon approving, documents were converted to PDF format and sent to document repository and records center. Developed a custom SharePoint workflow utilizing OpenXML sdk for appending electronic signature. SharePoint Word Automation Services for converting word documents to PDF.

Project – Assisted Ranir Corporation migrate about 500K TIF documents into

SharePoint 2010. Before migrating documents, assisted Ranir converting all TIFs to PDF. Used a 3rd party OCR tool to convert the documents. Developed power shell scripts and console applications to perform the migration into SharePoint. Application extracted metadata from document database and added to document during SharePoint upload.

Project – Upgrade of SharePoint 2007 to 2010 for Daystar Television. Used the database attach method to upgrade SharePoint. Farm consisted of 2 web frontends, an index server, and SQL 2008 database server. After upgrade, exposed an extended web application to allow for external users to access company portal.

Project – Developed a SharePoint solution for Sally Beauty Corporation to better manage corporate policies. The solution was capable of generating automatic policy IDs based on metadata. There was a workflow component that allow approvers to approve policies and convert the policy to a pdf format using SharePoint Word Automation services. The solution consisted of site columns, content types, event

receivers, and web parts.

Project – Architected and developed a SharePoint sandbox solution for Nuventive. The solution allowed a way for their clients to have a standard document library structure on all available SharePoint environments from hosted to on premise. The solution consisted of site columns, content types, web templates and web parts.

Project – Architected and developed a SharePoint solution for LearningCounts.org. The solution allowed students to register an account, sign up for a course, build student portfolios, and make payments. The solution used SharePoint forms base authentication. The solution was a combination of custom web parts, windows service, and application pages.

Project – Architected and developed a SharePoint solution that would integrate a java base enterprise assessment management web application from Nuventive. The solution consisted of functionality within Nuventive’s TracDat web application that were exposed through SharePoint. These capabilities were document transfer, navigation, follow up action, tasks, and editing assessments. A number of SharePoint features and web parts were developed to expose these capabilities.

Project – Architected and developed a workflow solution for BSM group within Bell Helicopter. Workflow consisted of multi-level approval process for items within a custom SharePoint list. Workflow was combined with custom web part that presented a dashboard like display of tasks and items for ease of use.

Project – Upgrade of SharePoint 2003 to MOSS 2007 for the Army and Airforce

Exchange Service. Architect migration strategy, portal taxonomy and topology. Integrated SharePoint with business intelligence tools such as SRS 2008 and Performance Point 2007. Developed a branding solution which allowed for custom master page to be used for each site within the portal. The solution consisted of features, feature receivers, feature stapler, http module, and server controls. Instructed developers and systems analyst on custom development and SharePoint best practices.

Project – Developed line of business application in MOSS 2007 for Horizon Health. The application provided a platform for health facilities to collect and manage data related for submission of core measures to the Joint Commission. Application security involved using NTLM and Forms authentication for two different business units. Developed custom web parts, server controls and asp.net application pages.

RBA Consulting

Consultant October 2007- May 2008

Project – Designed and developed an internal revenue sharing application that extracted data from data warehouse and time tracking application for consultants and managers to maintain revenue sharing hours. Application built with InfoPath 2007 in a browser capable approach utilizing forms services and MOSS capabilities. Web services were written as main data source for retrieval and submitting of data.

Project – Developed a resource tracking application that was presented at the Microsoft SharePoint 2008 Conference in which it displayed the capabilities of MOSS as a business application development platform. The application involved using Infopath, workflows, SharePoint designer, Excel Services, BDC, search, and web services.

Project –Upgrade of SharePoint 2003/MCMS 2002 to MOSS 2007 for Landscape Structure Incorporated. Migration involved intranet, extranet, and internet sites. Provided technical lead to infrastructure and development teams. Implemented migration on developer workstations, training server, Dev, Staging, and Production environments. A total of 8 custom web parts were converted to .net 2.0 and re-coded to function within MOSS. Worked with designer to help brand intranet and extranet with a new theme and master page. Instructed development team on creation of SharePoint features and wsp solutions to easily move branding, web part assembly’s and files to all environments.

Developer June 2006 – October 2007

Designed and developed SharePoint Portal Server 2003/2007, MS CRM 3.0, and asp.net solutions. SharePoint customization of web parts, workflows (SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio), KPI, dashboards, events, InfoPath Forms and custom platform solutions. Customizations involved using the SharePoint object model or web services. MS CRM 3.0 customizations involved callouts, workflows, UI design, and custom platform solutions. Developed reports using SQL Reporting Services. Deployed testing environments within virtual server 2005 and VMware server.

Project: Architect and implemented upgrade of a highly customized internal SPS 2003 instance to MOSS 2007 farm with intranet and extranet zones. Worked on all phases of the upgrade including planning, designing new topology, implementing upgrade, restoring customizations, hardware and operating system setup.

Responsible for developing and customizing asp.net applications. Applications include inventory management system and public facing internet website. Applications developed in C# using Visual Studio 2003/2005 with SQL Server Databases. Developed primary data access layer using web services and SQL stored procedures.
